5 Pillars of Sustainability – Quality
“Made for life.”
At LIVING CRAFTS, quality is not a trend – it is a standard. Clothing should not only look good, but also feel good, provide reliable comfort, and last for many years.
Because only durable fashion is truly sustainable. Every garment that is worn for a long time saves resources and reduces textile waste. That’s why we develop textiles designed to withstand everyday life – functional, robust, and timeless.
High-quality materials as a foundation
Our quality starts with the fiber. We rely on environmentally friendly, durable materials that offer high wearing comfort:
These materials are breathable, skin-friendly, and naturally durable. They form the basis for textiles that retain their shape and comfort even after many washes.

Functionally designed – consciously used
In addition to natural fibers, we also consider functional requirements. Elastane, as well as recycled polyamide and polyester, are used consciously and only in small amounts – for example, to improve durability or fit.
We use recycled materials where they add real value – such as in our TURIN bag, which is made from recycled fabric strips. In this way, we combine quality with resource conservation.
Innovation is also part of our understanding of quality. One example is EVO® by Fulgar – a 100% bio-based yarn made from castor oil. This high-tech fiber with a green soul is already used in selected tights.
Our commitment remains clear: high-quality, sustainable materials for long-lasting products that combine environmental awareness with comfort.
Craftsmanship & attention to detail
Quality is revealed in the details. Our fabrics – whether woven, knitted, or printed – are designed to become timeless favorites.
We focus on:
Strong, clean seams
Durable fabric constructions
Shape retention and wash resistance
Functional cuts with flexible fit
Our accessories follow the same principles: our buttons are mainly made from natural materials such as tagua (corozo) or coconut, while durable metal zippers ensure comfort and longevity. Especially in trousers, we use elastic waistband solutions to allow for flexible sizing while maintaining maximum comfort.

Certified standards for greater responsibility
Since July 2025, we have expanded our GOTS certification:
RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) – for animal welfare in wool production
GRS (Global Recycled Standard) – for transparent, certified recycled materials
This ensures quality not only in materials but also in responsibility throughout the supply chain.
The ecological and social aspects of these standards are explored in more detail in our pillars Ecology, Social, and Transparency.
Timeless instead of short-lived
Slow living instead of fast fashion. Our designs are intentionally timeless. Colors, cuts, and materials are chosen to be versatile and to last across multiple seasons.
Less waste, more value – this is our understanding of quality.
Fashion that moves with life, instead of being quickly replaced.
Quality as a sustainable choice
At LIVING CRAFTS, quality does not mean luxurious or exclusive.
Quality means timeless, robust, and long-lasting.
Simply “made for life.”
